Manual transmission, manual steering, manual brakes, manual windows .
But a power seat for some reason.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
So pretty, but no trailer queen, so no crazy price (I hope).

My car has manual seats, manual windows, manual mirrors, and now manual steering. Power brakes though. It sucks.

On the Grand Prix, I’d be okay with manual steering, thanks to the slow ratio, but I’d want power brakes.
Did your power steering fail? That’s usually tougher to drive than a car that never had PS.

And 8-lug wheels, just for fun.

It’s temperamental. I thought it was just low fluid (HPS, not EPS), but it’s at the fill line of its dipstick. I’ve noticed that when it’s humid or raining, there’s no power steering. At least that was the case all summer and into the fall, but lately, when it’s below freezing (always) there is no power steering to speak of for the first 20-30 minutes the car is on, which leads me to believe there’s either something frozen or something not dealing with moisture well.
And yes. It is so fucking hard to drive. As in, noticeably
harder to make small corrections on a straight road, much less parallel park. Ah well. I’ll probably sort it out in the spring.

Using the bottle stopper while looking this? Haha

Yeah, lots of fun changing a flat tire. This car doesn’t have those, though - the wheel covers just mimic that design.

Ha! A little too early for that, though I wish I was!

Ugh - I’ve driven manual steering cars, and cars with failed power steering. The latter is a bitch to drive, the former is just a little annoying at parking speeds.

By my understanding, the main differences are that my steering wheel is much smaller and my rack has a smaller ratio than a manual one would. I’m also given some resistance from the power steering modules that aren’t doing anything.

5 o'clock somewhere! Plus it's frigid there!

Yep - all of the above. That GP would be around 4.5-5 turns, lock-to-lock, with a huge steering wheel.
Hope you get that fixed soon - must be annoying as hell!

Drunk parenting is a miserable experience, trust me.
I have a new bottle that I may crack open after his bedtime tonight, though...

Just nice enough to drive daily and not feel bad about it.

At least for 5-6 months out of the year up here - you’d have to be a monster to expose that car to salt.
As a bonus, you’d get a good workout, between the heavy clutch, unassisted brakes, and unassisted steering.

Down here, though, I could use it almost all year, especially for short drives. For the purposes of this fantasy, I’m ignoring the clutch part. ;)

The vast majority of these are automatics anyways - probably 90+% were built with the automatic.

Hmmm, good question...
